Ever since I was little, I was intrigued by people and the human relationships. When I was with friends, we were conducting night-long conversations about what makes us so different. The key question for me then was (and it still is now): what is the impact of our personality on our relationships and conflicts? And are there any tools that we can use to treat others better and with more respect?

That quest for connection has stayed with me for my entire carreer. I’ve collaborated with many leaders with very different styles. For some I would go the extra mile, but for some their leadership style was counterproductive. I kept on wondering what was creating this difference? Was it merely a difference in personality?

Probably that contributed, but still… I felt there must be more to it. So, when I worked as a leader for a bigger team myself, I encountered my own limits and it was obvious that I needed a more solid base. A coaching training was offering me many of the answers that I was looking for. The result of my self-development is what I would like to share with all of you today. My vision: more humanity in the office will result in much better results.

In 2019, I decided to quit the financial industry and I started my coaching education. That way I could dedicate 100% of my time and effort to the realisation of my mission to make change easier and to support leaders and their teams during transitions. It was about time to shape my dream, based on connectedness and empathy and a deep respect for my inner values and talents to make me thrive. In November 2020, I got ICF certified. In the meantime, I also got Enneagram certified and consider this a very powerful tool to get to the core and to overcome any obstacles.
